The Town of Sidney Highway Department operates under the leadership of Highway Superintendent Jamie Roberts. The Superintendent is elected, and the position supervises the maintenance and repair of highways, bridges, and culverts, utilizing a staff of five employees.
In particular, the Town of Sidney Highway Department maintains approximately 57 miles of town roads, including snow removal and ice control, paving and maintenance, signage, roadway markings, drainage, and tree & brush cutting, when necessary.
