Notice of Public Hearing

Town of Sidney

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Sidney on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 7PM  
at the Town Hall at 44 Grand Street, Sidney, NY 13838, prior to the regularly scheduled Town Board meeting.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to solicit public comment on a proposed Resolution for the Cessation of Glyphosate Use on all state-managed roads within the boundaries of the Town of Sidney. This resolution seeks to formally oppose the application of glyphosate and similar herbicides due to growing environmental and health concerns, and to request alternative vegetation management practices.

All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. Written comments may also be submitted to the Town Clerk at the address above prior to the hearing.
